Week 20

Well, here we are...week 20. Half-way there.

I can feel the baby move now....alot. Everyone asks me if I think its neat. I think it is but I'm definately not used to feeling something move around and thump around in my stomach. I admit sometimes it is a bit "Alien" the movie. LOL Just to be honest. I was stitting at Sunday family dinner and recieved my first soccer kick to the bladder. Soooo happy I didn't pee myself. Mike noticed me jump. LOL

My friend Becca got married this weekend. It was very pretty. I was a bridesmaid thanks to some major dress alterations. I got fitted and ordered the dress when I was back in Raleigh and very NOT pregnant. It would zip all the way but the last three inches. Thanks to the lady at Fix to Fit a panel snapped into the back and gave the extra room I needed. Thank goodness!

Today I had a job interview. Random, I know. It was with a company that I had previous interviewed with before I was pregnant. They want me to take some Microsoft Office testing and then we'll see where it goes from there. I told them that I was five months pregnant and I was VERY surprised when they said they were willing to work around it. Wow. I really under estimate things sometimes.

This Wed. Mike and I go for our 20 week ultrasound. Know what that means? If the baby is cooperative we can find out the sex. I'll be sure to give ya an update on what we find out.

Monkey Update:

Baby's now the size of a cantaloupe!Baby gulps down several ounces of amniotic fluid every day, both for nutrition and to practice swallowing and digesting. And, these days, those taste buds actually work! Studies show that after birth, babies respond best to tastes they've already had via amniotic fluid. Meaning, think about what you'd like your future child to eat as you prepare your own lunch.
