My husband and I felt moved to adopt a family this year for Christmas. I combed through multiple Craigslist posts on the community board before I arrive at the CL post to the left.
Feeling moved and determined to help this family I went to work. At first I wasn't making much ground. I took to Facebook and posted on my personal page as well as a local Buy/Sell/Trade group page. I am still blow away at the amount of donations we received. Even the smallest of us can help. Here is a photo of my 3yr. old son helping wrap the gift for the mother. I also included in this post a photo of the collection for our 2013 Angel Family. So cool how when given the opportunity to serve, my community really delivered. Seeing the good in people has made this a great Christmas. I wanted to share this with you. I hope if you are not in the true Christmas spirit yet this post can help.
