Friday Faves

Who's Getting Excited for
Cooler Weather? ...This girl!

1.  Coffee Cozy
What's one more item to add to your bag or car clutter, especially when it is this cute?!?  Here's a way to be "green" and cute at the same time.  Forget those cardboard throw away sleeves to put on your coffee and re-use your own super adorable one.

Here is one I made from an old sock! That's right folks, double green points for a up-cycling and cutting down waste. Just cut the bottom foot section off and use the leg and cuff part (see instructional photo below).  I took some of the extra part and made it into a bow and sewed it on with a junk drawer button for an added handmade feel.

2.   Trench+Scarf+Boots
Fall isn't fall without a classic trench, designer scarf and fashionable boots.  Here are my crushes.  Now who's going to buy them for me? ;)

BURBERRY SHORT TECHNICAL COTTON TRENCH COAT

KENZO Spotted Lightning Bolt Print Scarf

Vintage 70's Brown Leather Lace Up Boots

Cold weather equals static hair. I have fine hair.  I have fine hair which I like to also color because I don't want to face the fact that my hair is more light brown than the blonde color it once was.  Those things don't go well together.  I know I need to use product to help my hair's health and keep it from being a static mess, but they always weight it down.  I can't afford to weigh down my already super flat flock. Then I found this stuff. It smells good and now that there is a "light" for fine light-colored hair. Ding, ding, ding...perfect. I use it all year round, but it really pulls its weight when the temperature go downwards.

What does it do:
• Detangles • Restores elasticity • Revitalizes hair

Fun Fact: Moroccan oil comes from Argan trees that only grow in Morocco, Africa. These trees have been treasured for years and they have even been worshiped long ago.

So do you get paid to recommend this stuff?
Nope. Not at all. I have never been approached to feature any of my Friday Fave products nor have I ever received any compensation/kick-back for doing so.
If I were doing a product review or getting paid I would tell you.
