NC STATE ICE HOCKEY ANNOUNCES JUNIOR AFFILIATE!
The NC State Ice hockey club is pleased to announce the addition of the East Coast Eagles Junior Team as the Wolfpack’s first ever Junior affiliate. Based out of Raleigh, the ECE have become a very successful southern Junior program. Many Eagle alumni have gone on to compete at the collegiate and Junior A level.
Look for NC State to schedule a game or two against the East Coast Eagles soon. This will give ECE players the opportunity to see what it takes to play at the college level, and give NCSU coaching staff a chance to see up and coming talent. Recruits will also have the opportunity to tour NCSU campus with current players and ask questions about what the school has to offer on and off the ice.
NC State hockey Vice President, Wes White, commented "We are excited to have the ECE organization as an affiliate. There is a lot of young talent up and coming from the Eagles Junior program. Our coaching staff looks forward to the recruiting advantage. Scrimmages between our clubs will give coaches a first-hand look at great players."
