I’m Doing Well....

Thanks to everyone who has tried to check up on me in one way or another. I experienced an acute attack of my liver disorder. It happens. I'm home from the hospital, recovering well, and will back to the work grind tomorrow.

In life there's lots to think about, but nothing to worry about.

Snow Storm in Raleigh

Raleigh was supposed to have a "snow storm" this weekend. We got rain, frozen rain, flurries, and actual snow for a couple of hours. Whooo Hooo! Mike and I planned to hunker down at home together by the fire and watch the snow come down all weekend. What a let down!

I remember getting out of school in Missouri for snow. Spending the whole day making igloos and having snow ball fights with the Gage boys. Going sledding in the park with Linda till our toes were frozen solid. How I miss those times and the snow.

At least we got precipitation of some sort. We need it with our extreme drought conditions. Snow in Raleigh...it was a nice thought!
