I have finally established a primary care doctor here in Kentucky.  The result...a new diet.  She told me that she would put in the work if I put in the work.  My new "lifestyle" is embracing a Vegetarian Gluten Free Casein Free diet.  Lovely...

Black Friday Gun Sales Hit Record High - Most of the Sales from Women?

Apparently, this year's Black Friday gun sales hit an all time high.  Even more interesting is that fact that the majority of those buyers were women! I wonder what's behind that?  I admit I do love to watch the reality show "Sons of Guns" which showcases one of America's most skilled and creative gun works, Red Jacket Firearms...but you didn't find me running out to buy one.  I wonder how many of those purchases by women where actually gifts for their men.  Hmmmmm.....

US: Black Friday gun sales were highest on record

After a bit more research, I've found that gun manufactures are actually starting to cater to the female clientele.  Heck, I might think about hittin' the shooting range with one of these posh models.  Check out these examples:

Mason LOVES cars so it was only natural that he is a Race Car Driver for Halloween.  A Lightning McQueen Race Car Driver to be Exact. :) We took him to HallZOOween at the Cincinnati Zoo this past Sunday! So fun!

Alright, today I am going to attempt to get Mason to actually eat hot dogs. They are yummy and most of all cheap. I would love for him to like to eat them. So far I have had no luck. I have even tried them cut up in his fave Mac'n Cheese and still no success! Here we go...Operation Pigs In a Blanket....

1. Cut a slit in the middle of the hot dog and stuff with cheese.

2. Wrap the stuffed hot dog with a crescent roll.
You'll have to stretch it out to cover it.

3. Bake at 375 for approximately 12-15 mins. until golden brown on an ungreased cookie sheet.

4.Yummy! :)

5. Cut the P.I.A.B. length wise first and then smaller pieces for your little toddler.

6. Success!!!
Mason eating and LOVING his Pig In A Blanket!

7. And even Mommy Enjoyed It! :) Heh, heh

So it's October of 2011. Too make a very, very long story short. I have had some issues with my liver disorder and it became too hard to be dependable at work. My husband and I discussed it and came to the conclusion that the best move for my health, our family, and Mason would be for me to be a Stay at Home Mommy. So here's to my next great life adventure!
